My little ray of sunshine turned 10 months old August 25th. She changes every day and makes life so much sweeter. She has a 100 different smiles and silly faces that makes my heart skip a beat.
Audrey Caroline, I love you from the top of your head where you blond, spiky hair down to your sweet toes that you refuse to wear socks and shoes. Those sweet feet are taking you all over as along as there is a piece of furniture that you can hold on to. Your crawling has picked up so much that it is hard to know where you are in the house half the time...just joking!
You are into everything. We can't turn our backs too long. You are pulling a cord, trying to stick something into an outlet, opening drawers or cabinets or your most determined activity, eating chalk. All of Ali Grace's chalk is wet most of time where you have stuck it in your mouth. Gross, kid!
You love being outside. You love the water. Bigger the splash the better. You are not afraid of it for sure. You dip your face in the water every chance you can. As soon as you hear the bath water running, you take off to the bathroom and cry when you get taken out of the tub.
You refuse to eat table foods or drink out of a sippy cup. You have warmed up to a cup at school as long as your teacher holds it for you. I don't want you to grow up, so I guess you are obeying me by wanting to stay a baby. Daddy did give you a Gerber Cheetos and you do love them. You have taken a few bites of cinnamon toast and yogurt. You do not take a night time bottle, but this is the only bottle that we have eliminated. We will get there, but who is in a hurry?
You wear 9 month clothes on average. Some 12 month shirts and some 3-6 month pants for your short legs. Shoes when we try is size 1 or 2. Diapers size 3. You will not wear a headband or bow. I can hardly even snap a picture before you have it jerked out. Your Daddy thinks it is funny that I even try, but I will convert you to a bow girl one day.
You say Daddy all of the time, but when you are hurt or tired you say Mama. I love to hear those words come from your mouth. You play patty cake and peek a boo so good. If we are not paying attention to you, you will make a growling sound and cover your eyes letting us know you want to play. You love all toys especially your sister's doll house and her books. You play in her room a lot. Your sister adores you. I know that I need to document this each post because one day you will not always get along. I accept this because I have 2 sisters.

You are beautiful. We can not get enough of you. I love your personality. I love how you cling to me when other people try to hold you and you don't want to go. I love when you only want me to hold you at night when you are tired. I love when your eyes light up when you are excited. I love your determination when Daddy and I tell you no and you act like it does not phase you (yes, this will not be cute in a few months.) I love you baby girl and can't wait to see what you will do next to surprise us.
