It has been a while...What we have been up to!

I am the worst blogger or maybe just a busy, working mom...you decide. ha! We spend all of our time either working or playing with the girls. Billy started church league softball, so we have watched him play in two games so far. Billy went on a business trip to Houston mid May for 3 days. I was worn out and was so glad he was home. I am very thankful for all what he does and do not take him for granted...even more now!
Ali Grace is growing up so fast. She sat in my lap one day at church. Her legs hung over past my lap down to my legs. I realized that she is not a baby anymore. How much longer will she want to crawl in my lap and let me cuddle with her? It almost broke my heart. One of my favorite things to do is have conversations with Ali Grace. She talks so grown up and has so many thoughts that I wish that I could write everything down.
These pictures were taken on Mother's Day...one of my favorite days. I love this holiday because of what made me celebrate the day. My girls are my world and I hope that I let them know how much I love them.
May has been hot and fun. My handsome cousin graduated from high school. It does not seem like he is old enough. Will is a good person and has grown to be a good guy with a huge heart. I wish him only the best as he starts a new journey in his life.
Ali Grace and Will...Will was in preschool when I graduated from C.A....yes, I am old!

Awanas also wrapped up in May. I am so proud of Ali Grace for completing her first year as a Cubbie. She memorized all of her Bible verses and learned more about what God has done for us. I am so thankful that she loves to hear stories of Jesus and wants to memorize God's Words.
Brandon and Ali Grace...Brandon goes to church and daycare with Ali Grace. They have known each other for a long time.

Audrey Caroline is constantly stealing my heart. She is so different from Ali Grace, but alike in other ways. She is laid back and so content most of the time. Ali Grace was crawling by now and getting into everything. Audrey Caroline could care less about being mobile. It could be that her big sis gets everything for her. Audrey Caroline even likes different toys than what Ali Grace liked. Both love baby dolls. My baby girls does not like to cuddle or to be held a lot unless you are walking. She wants to be on the floor so she can stretch out. Her smile is contagious and she will smile at anyone. Ali Grace would look at you like you were insane when she was a baby. I think Audrey Caroline is going to be more outgoing and louder than her sister. We could keep Ali Grace in church with us until almost a year. Audrey Caroline gets a little chatty. She got kicked out of naptime at daycare for laughing or talking to herself. She was waking the other babies. Her teacher took her to other classrooms and socialized.
May the pool opened for the year. Ali Grace has a great tan after on a weekend at the pool. She has the prettiest skin color. We made her wear her floaties which she did NOT like, but I was not comfortable with her swimming ability after a year. By Monday, Memorial Day she was swimming like a fish without them.
Audrey Caroline liked the water. She just kicked back and relaxed. The sun did not bother her either. She is my child for sure! We took her pack n play to the pool. When she got tired, she took a nap. She played in it all day. I hope that every weekend is this laid back as we enjoy our pool time!
Ali Grace has several friends that come to the pool. Thank goodness for her and Billy and me. Ali Grace will wear you out with playing with her. But when her friends are at the pool, we don't hear from her unless she is hungry.
Ali Grace loves, loves, loves Sara Stokes. I am so glad that Ali Grace has good friends and will hopefully grow up together. SS is a few weeks old than Ali Grace, so they will be in the same grade.
Audrey Caroline is a sweetheart. She is such a trooper. We can drag her around to the pool, shopping all day or just hanging out at the house. She just goes with the flow. When she is ready for bed, she is ready for HER BED! She can be fussy and I can lay her in her crib and she is so content.

Hopefully, I will do better on my blog with updating pictures. We are leaving for San Diego in a couple days. Keep us in your prayers as we fly. Pray for safety most importantly, but also flying with a 4 year old and a 7 month old.
