Audrey Caroline is 6 months old!

I can not believe that half a year has gone by with this sweet baby being in our family. I fall more in love with my children each day and will never take them for granted.

Audrey Caroline turned 6 months on April 25th. She is so much fun and keeps the whole family entertained. I guess she is going to be a performer/entertainer like her big sister. Audrey Caroline has started this wiggle/dance that she will do.  We will laugh at her and she will do it again and smile. It is the cutest thing.

 Audrey Caroline, you weigh 14lbs and are 25 inches long. You dropped in your percentile on weight, so we are having to increase your diet. You are right on schedule with your length and your head circumference.

You take around 22 ounces a day and are doing so good on baby food. Your favorite is cereal with fruit, bananas, pears and green beans. You do not like sweet peas. We have accepted this after several times you spitting the peas all over us. You were introduced to a sippy cup this week, but you are not very impressed so far.

You are wearing 3-6 or 6-9 month in clothes and size 0 in shoes. You wear size 2 in Pamper diapers.

 You sleep in your crib and still are sleeping all night. You have a few favorite items now...your lamb lovey, your pillow pet, your rattles and your music night light. You are starting to take less naps at school and at home. Daycare said you are moving the walker more and more each day.

You can roll both ways, but could care less to do it a lot. You love just laying there and playing or following your sister as she dances around the room. You are getting so much stronger at sitting up.

You babble all of the time. It is so cute to hear you talk and make those sweet baby sounds.

You love to be pushed in your stroller, so you have become Mama's walking buddy. After supper every night, we stroll up and down the street.

You study people and things. You are a friendly baby most of the time. You sometimes get a little fussy in different settings. You love playing on the floor with your toys or your sister, so when you have to be held for a long time...you get irritable. You have not cut any teeth yet, but you are teething so bad.

You had a lot of first this month...1st MSU Ballgame, 1st Super Bulldog Weekend, 1st Easter and 1 ear ache...we could have done without the ear infection and the antibiotic. You are such a tough baby even your pediatrician said so. You hardly cried at your shots and hardly fussed about your ear. You also experienced your first tornado weather and no electricity situation.

Audrey Caroline, you have made the last 6 months so unbelievable. We never knew that our family was not complete until you came. I can't imagine life without you. Your sister adores you and can't get enough of you. You are a likable girl. Happy 6 Months Baby!
